Brand names for fun com.

Type a keyword or two: Hivex builds brandable names from them, the way it finds free .si names, and checks every one on .com, .si, .ai, .io and .org.

Looking up…

How the names are made.

  • Your words: each keyword alone, two keywords joined in both orders, and blended where they share letters.
  • A brand ending or a brand word in front: the same parts Hivex uses to find free .si names, such as flow, forge and hub, or nova, prime and true.
  • Short prefixes and suffixes: get, try and meet in front, or -ly, -io and -hub behind, left out where the join reads badly.
  • The Hivex index: free .si names Hivex has already found that contain your keyword.

How they are checked.

  • The names show at once, and your browser looks each one up in DNS on .com, .si, .ai, .io and .org: a name with name servers is registered.
  • Your browser then asks the registry about every open .com and every open ending of the six most promising names; an ending pulses while it waits. The others show as looks free.
  • Say your shortlist aloud and search the trademark registers before you pick one.

Questions people ask.

How does the brand name generator work?

It builds names from your keywords the way Hivex finds free .si names: your word alone, your word with a brand ending (flow, forge, hub), a brand word in front (nova, prime, true), and short prefixes and suffixes (get, try, -ly, -io); two keywords are also joined and blended. Free .si names in the Hivex index built on your keyword are added. The names show at once, and your browser checks each one live on .com, .si, .ai, .io and .org.

What is the difference between free and looks free?

Free means the registry has no record of the name: your browser asks it about every open .com and every ending of the six most promising names, and an ending pulses while it waits. Looks free means the name has no sign of being registered, but the registry was not asked; the registrar confirms it at checkout. Some free names are reserved or premium-priced, which only the checkout shows.

How is it different from the business name generator?

The business name generator mixes your word with words from your industry and checks the .com. The brand name generator uses the brand parts Hivex uses for .si names and checks five endings for every name, so you see at once whether the .com, .si, .ai, .io or .org is still open.

Are my keywords stored?

No. Hivex's server uses them to build the names and keeps nothing. The checks run in your browser, which asks Cloudflare's resolver and each registry directly, as any website visit would.

Is it free?

Yes, with no signup and no limit beyond a fair-use rate limit.

Hivex index

Short names, still free to register.

Starting something new? Hivex keeps a live index of short, brandable .si names nobody has claimed yet, each checked with the registry.

By Hivex. Updated 11 October 2026. Names are built from your keywords with Hivex's own word lists, the way it finds .si names, and shown at once. Your browser then checks them: DNS through Cloudflare on five endings, then each registry for every open .com and the six best. Your keywords are not stored.
