What goldfi.sh is worth to a buyer.
What makes a name worth more or less, scored from facts Hivex can check: no invented price, every point explained.
Looking up…
The five factors.
- Extension, 25: .com first, then .ai, .io, .net and .org; country extensions count most to buyers in that country.
- Length, 20: the shorter, the scarcer.
- Words, 20: a common English word scores highest, then any real word, two words, and invented names.
- Demand, 25: the share of 16 main extensions where the same name is already registered.
- Age, 10: years since registration, from the registry, where its terms allow it to be shown.
What it leaves out.
Visitors, links, an existing business on the name, trademarks, and above all what a particular buyer wants. Those can make a name worth far more, or far less, than the band suggests.
Questions people ask.
How much is my domain worth?
What a buyer will pay for it. Hivex scores the things buyers pay for; for a price, look at public sales of similar names, and ask a few buyers or a broker.
Why is there no price?
Hivex has no sales data, and a number without it would be a guess dressed up as a fact. The band shows how the name compares on what usually drives prices.
What makes a domain valuable?
Mostly the extension (.com above all), shortness, being a real word, demand (the same name taken on many extensions), age, and the visitors and links it already brings, which this page does not measure.
Does a high score mean it will sell?
No. It means the name has what buyers usually look for. A sale still needs a buyer who wants that name now.
How is demand measured?
By checking the same name on 16 main extensions with each registry. If most are registered, many people have wanted that name; if few are, fewer have.
